Sideboard

This is my Orzhov token deck that I've transformed from the Modern Event Deck. Some people call B/W tokens a fair man's deck as it doesn't try to combo off or do anything fancy, it just focuses on one play at a time. I plan on running this for my first ever IQ in november.

Unfortunately college calls and I have a rough week ahead so I need to study, therefore a long detailed description will have to wait. I would like to quickly address some things I may hear:

Yes, Elspeth Tirel is the best planeswalker for the deck. Elspeth, Knight-Errant is close, but she is a aggressive planeswalker, good at putting on early pressure but not so great at stabilizing you. Tirel can negate damage from thoughtseize & self damage and also slows down burn. She can also spam creatures to block which can easily become 2/2s or 3/3s with anthems. Finally, she can wipe the board for a blowout the next turn. I would consider Sorin, Solemn Visitor but he is expensive and I haven't gotten a chance to playtest with him.

I'm running Mirran Crusader over Brimaz, King of Oreskos mainly for budget reasons and also because the pro G/B can be devastating game 1.

Windswept Heath over Marsh Flats because budget and I will never fetch my 1 swamp.
