Jund + Today's Episode: Pinky & the Brian go to the Dark Heart of the Woods and meet an Epicure of Blood! How looney!

"What are we going to do tonight, Brian?"
"Same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to WIN A GAME OF MAGIC!"

Yet another Brian deck, this time a Jund attempt to sac' Forests for lifegain. Sacrifices trigger Brian and lifegain triggers Epicure of Blood. Also trample.

The first priority is to play Forests. As many as you can.
The way to get these forests is with cards like Sakura-Tribe Elder, Sylvan Ranger, Explore and Far Wanderings. Then, once you get all these Forests, there's a couple things you can do with them, such as...
Sacrifice Forests to Pinky to not only generate any combination of or , but also to make Brian bigger.
Sacrifice Forests to Dark Heart of the Wood to not only gain 3 life, but also to make Epicure of Blood ping your opponent.
Run out of Forests? Just use old Forests again with Groundskeeper's ability.
Something in Brian's way? Flame Slash it away. Not Flame Lash, but Flame Slash.
_Still_ got stuff in Brian's way? Tromple all over it _and_ your opponent's face with Rancor, or maybe Strength in Numbers (until I find another Rancor, anyway).
Bloodfell Caves is to help ensure you can cast your splash-colors, while Mortuary Mire is intended for some "surprise" recursion. Finally, one Mountain and one Swamp are included for safety to ensure you can always access your colors somehow.

This deck was built around/inspired by Bloodbriar, a fun, versatile creature in Pauper.
