This list has synergy! This is the typical pauper affinity shell with some new Kaladesh cards and an infinite damage combo. My goal is to set up a low level staccato ping from Reckless Fireweaver and artifact etb effects punctuated by Renegade Freighter bashing in for 5 points of trample damage. The infinite combo consists of Reckless Fireweaver, Battered Golem, Retraction Helix and one of several zero cost artifact spells. Frogmite and Myr Enforcer happily fill that slot starting on turn 3 and beyond. The deck isn't built around the combo, instead it can be a Bob Ross-like happy accident letting you blast your opponent for all of their health in one turn.

Another synergy of note is the interaction among Renegade Freighter , Battered Golem and artifacts entering the battlefield. You can crew up the pain train with the Golem, cast a Bone Saw , untap Battered Golem ping with Reckless Fireweaver and send half of your opponent's life total across the board for the cost of equipping Bone Saw . Magical Christmas Land aside, there is plenty more artifact synergy throughout the rest of the decklist.

A casual tournament showed some trouble closing out the game with the original list. During the 4 round tournament, the infinite combo was pulled off in one game (this is an expected low frequency and I'm happy with that result) . There were at least 2 games where I had one win in the books, my opponent was at 5 or less health and the deck fizzled out with at least 10 artifcats on the board. Therefore I'm going to remove the infinite combo and put in Atog and Disciple of the Vault to help close out the game in those situations. It would have been easy enough to hold out on those two cards until my opponent is tapped out late game.

Renegade Freighter was a smash hit as well as Reckless Fireweaver, both got in tons of damage or brought removal out of my opponent's hand clearing the way for Myr Enforcer.
