Boros Charm should find a place in here. I posted it to your forum post ut also wanted to suggest it so you could easy slip it into the deck.

Gisela, Blade of Goldnight rounds up so she would not stop 1 damage.

The prevented damage is rounded up. 1/2 of 1 is 0.5 rounded up is 1 damage prevented 1-1=0

Yeah the wording gets a lot of people. Played a match against Kaalia and I had keep explaining it over and over... then he played his own and he got even more confused

I love this archetype. My version is a little different with Basandra, Battle Seraph at the helm. I don't know why people think boros is bad in edh.

It's harder, worst ramp, worst draw, worst tutor. You have a lot less options for card advantage. I get my advantage from nuking the board periodically, and playing answers

What happens if you copy Earthquake, say where X is 5 on the first Earthquake. Does the copied version also count as 5 or 0 because X was not paid on the copy?

Holtzman says... #11

The value of X while on the stack is whatever you pay for it; not 0. It is pretty much the only time it is not 0. So if you Earthquake for x=5 and copy it, you get another Earthquake x=5.

Mizzix of the Izmagnus decks abuse X spells to build experience counters. If you have 3exp counters and cast Blue Sun's Zenith you pay the base use the cost reduction to make X=3. Because on the stack the CMC is now 6 they get an experience counter and draw 3 cards

Nice deck +1. Could you review and upvote my Aurelia Boros Voltron?

Where's your copy of Stuffy Doll? It fits with your theme and you can create an infinite loop with Guilty Conscience.

It does, but it only targets one player and doesn't work while gisela is out

So, has Anya ever popped up on this list before?

Also, why drop some of the cards that are damage based when you have abilities to double the damage output of those type of abilities? Like Lightmine Field in tandem with Furnace of Rath or Dictate of the Twin Gods ?

@TheRedGoat

Lightmine Field and it's ilk were rarely doing anything for me, there are almost no decks that swing wide in my meta. Mostly storm and mana symbol gmana symbol b combo decks win. That is why I opted for Rest in Piece instead, as well as more instant speed answers.

I hadn't thought about Anya, Merciless Angel it could be a replacement commander I'll have to test it.

I am not a Red player myself, but I can appreciate some GMM anywhere. You know what time it is. (upvote time)
