This deck functions a little like a mid range Rock deck with control for the early game through removal and discard, and Phyrexian Obliterators for the mid game. Peppered in are hard to deal with creatures like the Bloodghast and disruptive creatures like Tidehollow Sculler.

With all the discard in the deck, it does have a rack like back up plan with Nezumi Shortfang. The whole point of this deck is to control the board state till you can get all your threats online.
