Sideboard

This is my current take on Standard Jeskai Phoenix. I find that Phoenix decks tend to have a fairly good matchup against control decks due to the repeatable threats constantly pressuring their planeswalkers (as long as you don't run directly into a Cry of the Carnarium ) and a fairly good matchup against aggressive decks since Arclight Phoenix can act as a very good blocker for many turns.

I splashed white in this deck specifically for Heartwarming Redemption , which helps a lot in staying a live in the more aggressive matchups like mono-red and mono-white/azorious aggro.

Apart from that, it's a pretty stock list that most people are used to. It just turbos through the deck a bit faster than the traditional list so far as I've been playing it, and allows you to get into the later game against the more aggressive matchups.

The sideboard is mostly geared towards Esper Control and Mono-red at the moment. Shivan Fire , Entrancing Melody and Augur of Bolas are great tools against more aggressive decks to hold off their early game even better. Meanwhile, the sweep of planeswalkers provided ( Narset, Parter of Veils , Kasmina, Enigmatic Mentor , and Ral, Izzet Viceroy ) are particularly good in the Esper matchup. Lastly, Beacon Bolt is more for mono-white and Gruul/Sultai decks to get out their larger threats.
