What is the best way to keep the horror that is the Eternal Scourge away? Well turn it into snakes of course!

Sacrifice Eternal Scourge, then exile it with Pharika, God of Affliction making a snake, then just bring back Scourge.

While you are setting up for 'Scourge-Cylcing', you play small deathtouchers to protect your board(weak against trample.), and if your in a pinch give your opponent a vanilla 1/1. "A vanilla 1/1? How?" you may ask, well just have Pharika exile their dead creatures and have Archetype of Finality remove their deathtouch. Win Win, for you.
