Devoted Vizier Shenanigans

Modern BRGW Combo Ramp

This is my take on the Devoted Druid and Vizier of Remedies combo deck. There is also some abuse of Vizier of Remedies with Viscera Seer and persist creatures (Kitchen Finks and Murderous Redcap). Orochi Leafcaller turns infinite green mana into infinite rainbow mana. The mana base is a dumpster fire because money.

Once Vizier of Remedies and Devoted Druid are on field, Duskwatch Recruiter   digs for a wincon (Bloodrite Invoker or Murderous Redcap with Viscera Seer), or Summoner's Pact digs for Duskwatch Recruiter  .

UPDATE: After some play, the list has been heavily altered to include Eldritch Evolution and Matter Reshaper. I'm not sure about Matter Reshaper, but it is fun to play and I'll know how well it works after the next time I play it at an FNM. The sideboard definitely needs some work, I just threw it together from stuff that I had.

Jun 2019 Update: So modern horizons is a thing. Eladamri's Call is replacing Summoner's Pact because it's strictly better for the deck. 2 mana instead of 4, still instant, and it can tutor for more than just green creatures. Weird Harvest replaced with 2 Twilight Mire because 18 lands is way too low and it was starting to bug me, and it also helps to cast Matter Reshaper. With Eladamri's Call in, Weird Harvest is much less critical. 3x Giver of Runes added because there wasn't really any protection mainboard which is usually a problem.

Jan 2020 Update: Well, it's been quite the year! As I continue to work with the deck, here are some more changes. I've taken out Matter Reshaper, it doesn't really fit in the deck or serve much purpose toward getting the combo. Without this card messing with the mana requirements, the painlands (eg. Caves of Koilos) can come out for Zendikar Rising flip lands. Twilight Mire came out for Crawling Barrens. Yay for wincons on lands! Walking Ballista has gone from $40 to $10 in the past year, so I'm putting a pair of them in the deck. Between these two colorless infinite mana wincons, Bloodrite Invoker isn't necessary in the deck. One will go in the sideboard in case it's needed as an alternate wincon, and its slots in the main will go to more land, bringing us to 22. Giver of Runes has come out for Fight as One. This may seem like an odd choice, but the two main combo pieces are a human (Vizier of Remedies) and a nonhuman (Devoted Druid). Being able to protect both and hiding protection in-hand rather than having it sitting on the field make it worth a try if nothing else.
