This deck is a semi-aggro Izzet convoke deck. Like many convoke decks, it's designed to dump out little creatures so that you're able to convoke your bigger creatures into play early. With some of the artifacts from M15, we have the ability to easily drop a Scuttling Doom Engine on our third turn.

It is my belief that elaborate deck descriptions are not, and should not, be necessary for most decks (the exception being extreme combo decks). This deck is not a combo deck, and therefore I will not be providing an elaborate card choice section. My choices should be self-explanatory. Questioning a card's place in any of my decks usually means that it's not a proper choice - however, discussing various options to fill a certain role may not be obvious. Feel free to start a discussion about any aspect of this deck, and I will contribute to the best of my knowledge and ability.
