This alteration should provide a bit more fluidity to the mana curve. It drops the number of ETB outlets, but there are plenty of those already and sandscout never was of any key importance. Chimeric Mass still manages the evasion of sorcery-speed spells when attacking, but can be turned into a blocker as well. Against fast decks, it should enter the battlefield on turns 2-4 (if on turns 3-n, it synergizes nicely with Priest of Urabrask.)
