Test #4 —Nov. 18, 2012

I played against legacy R/U Storm deck. It didn't use many of the most powerful cards available to the format and I won by 2-1, with one game lost to the fact that I missed a critical land drop and after running in circles for a while, I was obliterated by Ignite Memories. But in other games, I managed to stabilize in time, sweep the board and remove creatures and then proceed to deal damage.

Cheap, you said? Well, some fast thoughts:

What of those I might use:4 Archwing Dragon4 Cinder Pyromancer4 Glitterfang4 Kruin Striker2 Viashino Sandscout2 Lightning Bolt4 Angel's Tomb4 Grafted Wargear20 Mountain

What I'd take off:- 2 Rakdos Cackler- 4 Slagstorm- 4 Searing Blaze- 1 Mountain- 1 Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle

What I'd include more or from sideboard:+ 2 Viashino Sandscout+ 2 Lightning Bolt+ 2 Confusion in the Ranks+ 2 Sai of the Shinobi+ 4 Viashino Sandstalker

Though there would possibly come kind-of mana screws, when you have a handful of bounce-creatures and you'd like to cast'em all every turn to beat up your enemy, but you don't have enough mana to do that or then you happen to have'em just by luck. So this needs some kind of mana fetching, and something to stop/block your enemy overheading to you with his/her creatures - Kruin Strikers and Lightning Bolts are obviously just quite not enough to take care of that. That might be handled by using a bit lesser bouncing creatures that I just suggested, hahaha... and adding some cards to those slots to fetch'n'block or something. Of course there's still ench/art/creat. exile/destroying but I stop my suggesting in here. Imo really interesting deck anyway.

Happy to see where you'll lead this deck! ;)
