Another Pauper Commander deck in the process of getting tested.

If you don't know what Pauper Commander or PDH is then you should try it out.

This format is a great way to try out commander or get other people into commander that do not want to dump money into a top deck or don't want to start with a Precon.

Same rules as commander but with a twist; Your general must be a uncommon creature and your deck will consist of 99 common cards including land. This is still a singleton format and follows the Pauper ban list. Depending on the house rules or where you play the life total will be different. Most of what I have found online is 35 life and 16 commander damage. My local store does 20 life with no commander damage.

So now on to this deck....

The idea started when looking through possible commanders and wanting to do a 5 color deck. Something I have never done before due to the pure cost of the land base. Now that it is all commons I find it much easier on the wallet.

Once started on the idea I went over the possible combinations of Elementals, Slivers, Artifacts, Big dumb stuff, and many more. As you can see I went with the Artifact matters deck. My fist option was Elementals but was informed a friend would be building it.

MetalCraft, Affinity, Improvise and artifact matters cards held my attention for all the crazy synergy opportunities. Finding all of these in Common was not easy and it took a while going through Gatherer to find what I wanted and came out with a deck of about 200. What you see in the deck is still a crazy amount of cards and I will be making cuts and play testing this as much as I can to find the right cards for this deck.

Transguild Courier seemed like a fun commander to use. It is all colors and a artifact. There are only a few options for a 5 color general. Fusion Elemental would be the next best choice because its a 8/8 for .
