This deck plays like Vizkopa Guildmage, whereby you can stack the activated ability more than once.

The game plan is to get 4 Persistent Petitioners out, activate Duskmantle Guildmage first ability 2-3 times to 1-shot a player. Repeat this 2 more times and you've got the game.

Theres also the tried and tested Archaeomancer + Ghostly Flicker + Peregrine Drake combo. With infinite mana, cast Duskmantle Guildmage and activate both abilities infinite times, winning you the game.

Interesting interactions:

You can cast Flux and activate Duskmantle Guildmage in response. Then watch as your opponents want to trade life for a wheel.

Lifewise for Perplex and the activation when you attempt to counter a spell.

Tutor targets:

-Perplex for Rhystic Study (draw) or Ghostly Flicker (combo turn or value) or Capsize (control)

-Muddle the Mixture for Neurok Stealthsuit (protection) for Dramatic Reversal (burst wincon), because things can get out of hand if you trigger petitioners twice. This also untaps your rocks so you get more mana to activate the Duskmantle Guildmage again.

-Dizzy Spell for Tortured Existence, basically any petitioners becomes any of the utility creatures. Otherwise, you can also tutor for Relic of Progenitus against graveyard decks
