Pauper EDH* BG (Golgari) Dredge Pauper Zombie

"Drawing new cards is hard, but drawing the same cards over and over again will win you a game" -- Confucius, probably

Here's a deck that is crazy fun to pilot, because you will almost always have something to do. This focuses Mostly on Tormond, because that ability is fun to abuse, which we plan to with the following tricks.

Dredge- Strong in modern, strong in pauper. Zombies always taste better when you don't have to pay for them. simply skip your draw and taste the undeath. don't worry about the draw because...

Recursion- Half of this deck will pull stuff out of graveyards so with the right cards in hand, your graveyard is a second hand. Undertaker, Tortured existence, Tilling treefolk, and much more will keep cycling cards back.

Zombies- Tokens are cool but tribal synergies are the right kind of spicy. Once you have a board of zombies, hit your opponents harder than Taco bell hits my toilet with cards like Gempalm polluter and Shepherd of rot.

Cycling- its a easy as riding a bike, cycle cards like Moaning wall and Viscera dragger over and over again to turn recursion into fresh draw.

Sacrifice- If your opponents don't kill your stuff, you gotta do it yourself. Everyone who isn't your commanders are abusable, like step-children but without all the neighbors asking how why they keep falling so much.

Boardwipes- Pestilence and Evincar's Justice are some of the best in the format. It may kill some of your stuff but you will get it back. Your opponents dont. (usually)

Tax Evasion- People are going to realize that free and incidental zombies are just too good, so they are gonna kill the Tormond, the Chadinator. thankfully with all the cards that pull out of graveyards we are gonna slip taxes like the Al Capone of Pauper.

Green gives us access to two really nice things. Ramp and more Recursion. So buy recycling Dawntreader elks or Sakura-tribe elder we will have an uncomfortable amount of mana. Cards like golgari brownscale and Kheru Dreadmaw also gives us a little life which is very helpful. Grapple with the past and grisly salvage are super draws that will also make a zombie with Tormond, the Slapinator, on the board.

Halana isn't here just for show either. The point of bringing best girl is to take out priority targets so we can take over the game the way Golgari does best. Grind like this deck is a stripper and the battlefield is your pole. If you don't grind hard enough to get sweat, glitter and zombies on your opponents, well... you are no son of mine. Also you'll probably lose the game, but that's why it's fun. You will earn that win but the longer you last the better your odds.

This is Tormond, "fat-stacks of paperbacks" the desecrator and Halana, "360 no-scope" kessig ranger and thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
