"We all know the legend: Pavel wanders the realms, helping those in greatest need. But is this a measure of his generosity, or of his obligation to atone?"

EDH is a lot of fun, but all this "winning business" that permeates the format isn't quite my style - I like chaos, I like group hug, group slug, all that. I wondered, however, if I could possibly reconcile the two archetypes into something even dumber, and from that we get Group Ugh!

Your goal is to at once try to help people by giving them creatures, artifacts, lands, whatever, while at the same time committing wackiness and/or group-hurting cards to the board to make things more interesting, dethrone people, whatever. You shouldn't expect to win, you're just here for a good time.

As for the general himself, I have three well-known weaknesses: jank, weird Legends dudes, and Andi Rusu art. Pavel, then, has it all! In the end you could really use any B/R legend as your general, but Pavel has the flavor, has the art, has the fun factor, and if you're somehow alive in the late late game, could actually potentially seal it with general damage.

Built under a semi-strict budget just to have another deck to play. You can upgrade it pretty easily with staples and all that.

Future changes: More chaos, more jank, more hug, more fun. Give me some suggestions! I'll appreciate it.
