Mono black with Modern Horizons additions. Designed to murder Mono-White Heroic, Soul Sisters, UR Kiln Fiend anything that depends on creatures. Edict your opponent at instant speed, Defile their creatures and Corrupt their soul.

Let your Phyrexian Rager s bring you fresh spells, and Sign in Blood to reap dark power. Torture your opponent with Chittering Rats and prepare the board for Edicts with Crypt Rats . Gray Merchant of Asphodel is just good. First-Sphere Gargantua doubles as a big beatstick and a Sign in Blood. A single Pristine Talisman to stay alive.

Pretty straightforward, works fine so far. Burn and Goblins are hard matchups but not impossible; Goblin Grenade is terrifying. Mono G Stompy is actually a pretty tough matchup, not sure how to deal with the Young Wolves and Ledgewalkers; that deck is just too fast. Otherwise, I've played a few dozen matches on Forge with this and it has a great record against a wide variety of decks in the current PauperModern format. This may be the cheapest, most satisfying deck I have constructed so far. There's nothing like casting Sign in Blood on an opponent with only 2 life.
