Cartel Aristocrat's ability is really quite amazing. As long as you have a creature to feed her, she is almost completely invulnerable, and she can use it as evasion as well. At just 2 mana, the voltron pain train gets rolling fast.

I mostly favored equipments over auras, because they don't fall off when you have to save cartel aristocrat from Oblivion Ring or Rend Flesh. Some auras are obviously too awesome to pass up, though.
