Maybeboard

This is my take on Mono-Red control, a relatively unconventional and uncharacteristic strategy for red, and i love playing it. Ashling the Pilgrim is basically a boardwipe that sits in your command zone, with the right timing your opponents only have few windows to attack you. This deck is very simple in nature, the priority lies in keeping the field clean while damaging opponents in the process. Because of this, there is less priority on card draw and traditional wincons and more on consistency and mana stability.

I always loved red for it's simplicity but I'm kind of gravitating towards a slower more patient playstyle, especially in commander. This is my attempt at making that happen. In it's fun-hating board-wiping way this deck almost feels mono-white, but a little more explosive and with more consistent removal options (even though almost all removal here is damage based or conditional)
