Short description: Sling many spells, have plenty of things to react off of those played spells. Many of these reactions spit out playable tokens if they aren't dealing damage (with a few that don't do either). Either I'm overwhelming opponents with my instants and sorceries, or I'm overwhelming opponents with tokens, which are prodiced, largely, by using instants and sorceries like I do.

Any advice is appreciated. This is the first Commander/EDH deck I've ever built, so I doubt it's 100% solid. I'm trying not to creep up too much in price, but if there's something that should really go in here, I'm all ears and open to discussion.

Long-ish description: Not the one I wanted, but it's the one I have for the time being.

The short description wasn't missing a whole lot when it comes to the decks objectives. Case in point, the win-cons of the deck:

A.) Spit out more tokens than any mortal should be legally allowed to have and attack mostly with those.

The primary attacking tokens are my Constructs ( Metallurgic Summonings ), Drakes ( Talrand, Sky Summoner ), and Human Wizards ( Docent of Perfection  ). The latter of those either have flying, or are Wizards that easily get a nifty flying and +2/+1 buff after Docent of Perfection transforms. My Constructs make up for what they don't have in passive traits in the sheer power I'm able to pump them to. My more versatile tutor cards ( Diabolic Tutor , Increasing Ambition , Dark Petition ) all have a CMC of four to five, meaning I've spent less than that - either because the cost was reduced by a permanent's passive, or because I casted them with Omnispell Adept - to grab any card and spit out a token. Better are the times when I have Metallurgic Summonings as I cast a card in the deck with X in the CMC ( Banefire , Comet Storm , Jaya's Immolating Inferno ). After I've ramped up, all that floating mana becomes literal fuel for the fire and constructs alike.

Back to the Human Wizards: there's a way to make things seriously get out of hand with those, provided I can counter anything that nukes the field. Using Rite of Replication on a transformed Docent of Perfection   for the kicker cost, I can put out a total of six Docents. In short, I can drop six Human Wizard tokens every time I cast an instant/sorcery, and every Wizard - tokens, Kess, Dissident Mage , Baral, Chief of Compliance , Goblin Electromancer , Omnispell Adept , and Talrand, Sky Summoner - get a +12/+6 buff.

"Yo, what about those red Fire Elemental tokens?" Eh, I meeeaan, they're more or less along for the ride as blockers. I can't buff them at all, and the lack of flying with their 1/1 stats makes them nearly worthless as attackers.

B.) Cast instants and sorceries, causing things to trigger and deal damage (while also damaging with the instant/sorcery spells themselves)

Surprise, it's a Kess deck. Albeit the positioning on the list, I'd consider this more "Plan A" than anything. More often than not, this win-con is achieved through Guttersnipe 's two damage to everyone, and is assisted by the emblem that Chandra, Torch of Defiance produces. The thing about this win-con is that it can be pulled off by doing what either red or blue does best: countering/bouncing, or burning. If I get Cabal Ritual + Isochron Scepter out alongside Paradox Engine and Guttersnipe, it's an automatic game win.

[I'm not done here, but as of writing this, I'm unexpectedly out of time. I figured some insight into my mental processing is better than none.]
