This "theme" deck came from an idea to build an EDH around Kird Ape. Apes are not strong tribally but this deck does pretty well in our casual EDH format- it's one of my current faves. It plays fast and can wrap things up quick, due to the amount of combat-trick instants that it has. There aren't a lot of Ape tribals out there, so I thought I would post this one, as in spite the low power of it's tribal elements, it can play hard. Also, it uses 3 altered cards that make it even more fun to play- Xenagos, God of Revels, Taurean Mauler and Chameleon Colossus, all altered to be Ape illustrations by Christopher Moeller.
