Always thought about building a lifegain deck, but didn't want to use the basic, overused Karlov of the Ghost Council , or Oloro, Ageless Ascetic . I always thought Abzan would be the best color combo for lifegain, anyway. White gains most life, black has the best ways to spend life, and green is the best color in the game! Unfortunately, there's no dedicated lifegain commander in Abzan, so... I improvised! I think it'll work out, though. High-toughness creatures, evasion, and some lifegain staples and this deck nearly builds itself!
