My take on a Selvala Group Hug deck.

This deck, I find, is a blast to play. It is part grouphug, part control, part prison. This may sound weird, but it is a hell of a lot of fun at the table.

And how does it win? Winning is not really the point of the deck.

But if you have to, I guess potentially through letting people deck themselves. Which is why Elixir of Immortality and Words of Wilding are in here, to prevent you from decking out yourself. Otherwise, there is an Avacyn in here if you want to try and beat someone to death. That can work too. Most often, other people at the table will just concede once you have a decent enough lock on the game and dealt with their win cons.

I'm not much of a fan of alternate wincons, of the type that is basically an "I win the game because I say so" button, like Approach of the Second Sun and Felidar Sovereign, and such, so those aren't in my deck.

I am of course not against someone that wants to use this deck as a base for their own designs, and include those cards, but they aren't really my jam.
