Enchantment (3)

Creature (1)

This deck does its best to mimic a modern artifact affinity deck by dropping cheap artifact creatures and artifacts early game and buffing them up with Ensoul Artifact in as early as turn 2 with flying or indestructible, while quietly setting up for the home run; Scuttling Doom Engine or Jace, the Living Guildpact and stream lined with Divination and controlled with Stubborn Denial. An artifact with 5/5 should easily run over early threats, sideboard with Hydrosurge if large creatures become a problem.

============================================

Bronze Sable easily a card you can scratch your head with. It's simply a low cost artifact creature that's a target for Ensoul Artifact and Ghostfire Blade sweetness

Chief Engineer this sneaky bastard sneaks in the big guys by allowing you to tap your little guys to jump a few turns to inevitably summon Scuttling Doom Engine or Colossus of Akros .

Darksteel Citadel simply a target for Ensoul Artifact which thus creates a 5/5 indestructible monstrosity.

Divination You're gonna want that draw power. Generally an oh shit, I need options now now now card.

Ensoul Artifact the main strategy of this deck. With 20 artifact targets to choose from, there's no shortage of enemy beat downs.

Ghostfire Blade When I saw this on the spoilers my eyes exploded. I thought they were literally thinking of this deck when they created but I realized it's actually more intended for Morphing creatures. However it has this awesome side effect of boosting the shit of this deck as well. Number one, it's freaking cost 1, very good; can play on t1. Number 2, it's 2 colorless less to cast on colorless creatures? Uh hello, this deck is comprised of mostly artifact creatures, BAM synergy! So now we can rock 7/7's like nothing. Or equip it to the awful Bronze Sable and suddenly it's formidable 4/3 on t3, what what what??

Heliod's Pilgrim as you know Ensoul Artifact is the central theme of this deck, it becomes exceptionally useful if I can pull it from the deck at any moment's notice. This can probably be dropped down to only 3 but I haven't thought of a replacement, so help me out here.

Jace, the Living Guildpact You guys have whined loud enough to replace Colossus of Akros as a fun alternative, but now it's serious! It's real purpose is to accelerate the deck and provide a distraction and if not answered by turn 8, then your opponent has a very poor chance of coming back into the game.

Ornithopter amazing cost for a cheap blocker and become a 5/5 flier and it can be attached with ghostfire bladel for 2/4 flying threat. This seemingly non threatening 0/2 will END you, good game! Alternatively, sneak in some freaking hits in with a Ghostfire Blade , what? Those 2 damage over your head adds up over time!

Phyrexian Revoker generally it is a cheap artifact creature. It could have been vanilla but it's Pithing Needle effect is spectacular! Great target for Ensoul Artifact and Ghostfire Blade sweetness.

Scuttling Doom Engine the knock out punch of the deck and easily brought out by the Chief Engineer

Springleaf Drum ramping for the big guys and mana fixing for Heliod's Pilgrim also a target for Ensoul Artifact

Stubborn Denial This card has since replaced Negate and it is simply AMAZING in this deck. It's flexible enough to set the opponent back early game and then powerful AND efficiently enough to stop any would be threats on as early as turn 3!

=================

Sideboard is designed against aggro and control. This deck falls short vs. Heavy target removal.

Updates Add

The new cards coming in are sweet especially if they unintentionally boosted this deck namely Stubborn Denial. Although you can only legally run 4, it is simply fantastic in this deck. So I replaced it with the once mighty Negate to the even more flexible and efficient Stubborn Denial.

The "fun" aspect of the deck has been removed namely the Colossus of Akros which is obviously terrible but fun to bring out with chief engineer. Jace, the Living Guildpact has since taken his job. It's working out well.

3x Ghostfire Blade added for even better synergy than the mysterious yet fun haunted platemail. It was as if it was made for this deck. A fourth copy could find it's way here depending on test runs and how mana plays out. Heliod's Pilgrim would like to say hello from time to time. Easily replacing Springleaf Drum.
