Paradise Cantrips

Modern UR (Izzet)

TrackGenes

Sideboard

My budget build of a deck I read about on DailyMTG (an article called "Something's Weird About Modern) and one I saw a video on (AjemannCinnajob did a deck tech of it). Basically what you want is to turn 1 play a Blistercoil Weird, then turn 2 play Paradise Mantle, equip it, and go off casting one-drop instants and sorceries that draw you cards. Gitaxian Probe, Manamorphose, and Cerulean Wisps all get you extra mana, by either being cast for free, giving you mana back, or untapping the Weird an extra time. Crimson Wisps could let you swing with a Wierd turn two if you didn't get him down turn one and still get the turn two kill. Faithless Looting lets you pitch useless cards like extra combo pieces. In the sideboard, Mizzium Skin is to save you from things like Lightning Bolt, Echoing Truth is for creature removal or Chalice of the Void on one mana (which really messes this deck up), Aphotic Wisps is for getting past blockers, and Cremate is a nice cantrip that deals with any graveyard shenanigans. Obviously the playset of Steam Vents isn't budgeted, but I already have them and the Steam Vents so I'm keeping them in. Lemme know what cha think :)
