After playtesting online for a while, it was just obvious that the Mono-U version of this deck simply cannot deal with the big creature based decks and certain aggro strategies. There is Aetherspouts, Reality Shift and that's about it. Encase in Ice is great but only against two colours.

Therefore, I have moved this a splash W to allow maindecking of Banishing Light. It's still a permanent (good for the Altar + Pyxis) and it allows me to effectively remove most of the threats I am worried about. I can now also play a copy of End Hostilities and some copies on Valorous Stance on the SB for extra removal options.

Although the mana base is getting a bit tricky (since I always want double U on turn 3 for the Dictates), I feel this deck simply needs some more tricks up its sleeve. Spouts is too easy to play around and probably works better as a SB card for games 2 and 3.
