+1 for Spirit tribal. I'd recommend Spirit en-Dal, Shadow is always handy to have in EDH.

I had it in but removed it, any suggestions on what to remove, and thanks for the upvote.

Maybe Kami of the Palace Fields. Its soulshitlft is powerful, but it costs a lot for a 3/2, even with first strike.

I could take out shared triumph.

Quicksilver, Soulshift really helps us get one of our crazier infinite combos going, though. We need him in the deck to achieve the combo; it's a big wincon. We'll take out Shared Triumph for him though. Thanks!

You need Coat of Arms, Obelisk of Urd, Door of Destinies, etc.

We had some of those in initially but in testing they were lackluster and the current anthems suit the deck better.

I would think that Door of Destinies would be a better anthem quickly, as it builds up extremely fast. You would have spirits much bigger than with things like Charge Across The Araba. Besides, it sits there and you don't have to do things like return Plains to your hand for a boost.

Famicomania, Door of Destinies draws a lot of hate--and it's easily destroyed. While Charge Across the Araba is vulnerable to counterspells, it isn't so easily killed. If you look at our strategy section, you'll see why we don't want things hated on in the early game--we don't have a very strong early game.

Door, though, actually isn't that good because of the lack of our non-token spirits because its whenever you cast a spell, that means at most it would proc 13 times not including some other conditionals like recasting oyobi and mass bounce spells. Also Charge is instant so it is a surprise kill after blockers.

You still have 17 Spirit creatures in the deck, some of which can be replayed or returned by other cards. Blinking Spirit and Door combo with each other as well, and it is a staying anthem rather than a one time thing.

I count 15 but nonetheless I still dislike the door. It was in initially and performed badly because it was targeted immediately, we really don't have that many spirits (I do like synergy with blinking spirit though), and I feel like we are growing to become more and more combo-y so its use will be increasingly limited.

I miscounted. 15 + Oyobi, so 16 total.

Love the deck. It's nice to see a strong focus.
Thoughts:
Extraplanar Lens - goes well with the snow lands
Caged Sun - overall strong
Endless Horizons - steady card advantage as long as you don't make it too juicy of a target
Blind Obedience - lifegain + combo w/Crackdown
Temple of the False God - solid ramp
Terrain Generator - ditto
Thawing Glaciers - slow, but steady
Cathars' Crusade - holy hell, those are some big spirits.. ;)

Top four picks
Radiant, Archangel - not a spirit, but will be absolutely huge most of the time
Leonin Sun Standard - so good for a token swarm
Rootborn Defenses - fresh token + laugh off a lot of board wipes
Reconnaissance - enables the hyper-aggro plan without fear of losing creatures in combat + pseudo-vigilance

shaistyone, thanks for all the suggestions! The ones that we'll probably (depending on what we see on Untap) include are Radiant, Archangel (because infinite 3/3 spirits with flying are a thing), Leonin Sun Standard (ditto), and Cathars' Crusade (infinite infinity/infinity? Yes please). The other ones, are nice, but I'm not sure that they are the best fit for the deck.

You may want to consider Caged Sun or Extraplanar Lens as well. Sun works as an anthem, and doubles mana, allowing you to have tons of mana much more quickly. Lens does this more cheaply, but doesn't boost your creatures. Lens would speed up getting Oyobi out as well, which would be a boon. Rootborn Defenses seems like another good choice because you would lose your infinite spirits if there was a board wipe and you didn't have your protection cards. It also gives you an extra spirit at the same time.

@shaistyone/Famicomania:

I actually love Reconnaissance so it will be in.

Rootborn Defenses also has merit.

Caged Sun and Extraplanar Lens were tested already and surprisingly underperformed. Maybe we test them again but idk.

Cathars' Crusade is a bit expensive but is definitely under consideration. The problem I see with it is that it's a big target. The same with Door of Destinies mentioned earlier.

Endless Horizons is also cool, definitely a consideration. We will update the primer at some point (for all of these). Not only is it mana but deck thinning as well and I feel like they won't be inclined to kill it over other enchantments like Defend the Hearth.

Blind Obedience is mean but maybe not too mean, probably worth considering.

I feel like Radiant is just gonna eat removal so idk about her.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Good thing you acquired $50 worth of cards, now there's only $900 more to go!

klone13 says... #20

Actually less because I have some cards and this deck can function without Moat and Mana Crypt. We can also substitute snowcovered for basic until we acquire them. Thx for commenting.

I like the deck, I've never seen this General played before and I really like how your page looks, it's a very beautiful setup. Keep up the good work.

Thank you very much. Probably some internal site bug or something they forgot to fix.
