Origins Game Day - 8/9/2015 —Aug. 9, 2015
Made the top eight, took home a pretty full art foil Languish. Placed 7th even after dropping once we reached the top eight.
Round 1 - Lost 1-2 against a B/R Thopter deck featuring Ensoul Artifact, lost due to having to mulligan down to 5 cards and then still was mana screwed.
Round 2 - Won 2-1 against elven-hunters-blackgreen-deck which was being piloted by my friend Jonathan.
Round 3 - Won 2-0 against U/W Heroic deck being piloted by Frank. It was the same deck that beat me at the previous FMN even though a different person was piloting it.
Round 4 - Agreed to draw against my opponent so we both could make the top 8. We played casually and he won 2-1 with a B/U/G deck featuring both Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver and Kiora, the Crashing Wave
Dropped as soon as top eight was announced and the promo was given out. Would have been nice to see if I could have won the playmat but another three hours of gaming was out of the question.... needed to avoid death by significant other.
