Notice This deck is meant for casual play, so i wont include cards like Exquisite Blood to combo of Sanguine Bond. I want to build a deck that can allow other players to have some fun in the game.
Now about the deck,The idea behind this deck is just having low mana chump blockers that let you gain life which stalls into drawing cards to help you get to stuff like sanguine bond which will let you choke the life out of your opponent with chump blockers while while gaing life so they can't keep up.
The main function of this deck is the cards like
Pride Guardian
,
Goldenglow Moth
, and Nyx-Fleece Ram combined with Sanguine Bond to get your opponents to zero by just blocking.
The secondaries of this deck are Athreos, God of Passage, Wall of Limbs. Athreos is there so you can continually reuse your chump blockers, or let them drain themselves. Wall of limbs is for a finishing blow if sanguine bond didn't quite bring them to zero.
This deck's main sources of draw are Night's Whisper, Phyrexian Arena, and Erebos, God of the Dead.
and finally, dealing with threats. For those big threats early on comes Path to Exile, and Tragic Slip which both are realyl good for this deck. both of them can get around the indestructable mechanic, and since you should have a couple of chump blockers lying around, letting one die to play a tragic slip shouldn't be a problem. The next spell that will be useful is
Stab Wound
. Its there to ease the pressure of big creatures while also squeezing life from you opponent.
over all i really enjoyed working on this deck and coming up with the idea, but im pretty much a noob when it comes to deck building so any tips or ideas would be appreciated.
