That it doesn't, I meant destroy board-wipes, ex supreme verdict, gaze of granite, and so on. Guess you better get that turn 3 spear of heliod out there and try to keep it from killing you

maybe a Pain Seer for card draw? and Doom Blade or Ultimate Price for removal? Now you don't have protection from regular removal but I'm guessing that not as scary as Drown in Sorrow since you have Xathrid Necromancer . Perhaps a Gift of Orzhova for evasion and some lifelink?

The problem with Pain Seer is that if you drop it turn 2 you maybe get an extra card turn 4 if it doesn't get blocked/removed. Precinct Captain is just more powerful and Imposing Sovereign allows you to get a couple more attacks through, so I'm not sure about Pain Seer in the 2 spot.

The debate is really between more removal or some way to protect my dudes instead of Brave the Elements .

Please continue to post results, I literally was thinking of running a list similar to this but with less lands a fabled hero and some buffs etc..

thought about Tormented Hero ?

I have thought about Tormented Hero , but the issue is that having a white 1 drop is just better since I really want to be able to play Precinct Captain at WW on 2. There's enough plains that this almost always happens, and I find that with nothing to target Tormented Hero it's just kind of awkward.

Dutiful Thrull could have his place as an early one drop stopper. :P

I actually have no interest in blocking most of the time
