Alright, this deck is a little outside of the box. Which is both good and bad in a way. My idea for this deck came about while playing my current UrzaTron deck. I kept running into the issue of either not getting my Urza lands soon enough because there were just too many cards in the way, or not having enough value cards in hand by the time my Lands are in play.

My first thought was, most of this deck just needs to go away. It comes down to this: all I really need to win the game are my Urza lands and one big drop that'll let me pop off a turn 5-6 win with consistency.

The game plan turned into finding a way to remove most of my deck by turn one or two so I can just work with the 15-20 cards I really need.

The solution to this is to pack as many Shadowborn Apostles in as possible and then just exile them all with a Surgical Extraction. (Be on the draw, don't play anything, discard a Shadowborn Apostle, pay two life and surgical extraction into a 15-25 card max for your library.)

Then it's just a matter of getting Shelldock Isle out to cheat in a monster -in this case Spawnsire of Ulamug- and have him hold down the field until you can get your lands out and pop him to drop your Eldrazi army onto the field.

The only hiccup I'm experiencing is the amount of time it takes to produce the 20 Mana to pop him off. What I'm looking for are possible ways to speed up the Mana production so I can pop him off sooner. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Edit- trying to find something that'll work even half as well as Sol Ring but is modern legal is taking more time than I expected. I'm considering Mana Reflection at this point, although it does mean running a third color, and it's CMC is higher than I wanted, it still seems like a distinct possibility for this deck. A better option might be Doubling Cube, it would work well with the Urza lands , low CMC, and it doesn't alter the colors in the deck. What are your guy's thoughts? I personally am leaning towards Doubling Cube, but I'm not set on it and I'm not sure what exactly to cut for it (Expedition Map doesn't do as much as I want it to in here, but it's still strong for piecing together UrzaTron..) give me your suggestions, and we'll see where this goes from there! I still haven't given up on making this run, but it's something that'll take some more research before it will come to fruition. On a related note, I'm now working on a -nearly identical- Vintage/Legacy build that uses the Cabal Coffers / Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth combo for added shenanigans.
