A deck based around +1/+1 counter synergy. Originally was based off the new Armorcraft Judge, but he's not actually that useful. So after a few recreations, this is what we've got.

The Synergies

Hardened Scales synergizes beautifully with most of the deck, here's a few highlights.

1. Bioshift + Hardened Scales . A 1 mana instant that lets you save your counters, and as an added bonus it also triggers the enchantment, giving you an extra counter.

2. Hardened Scales + Servant of the Scale and kind of Durable Handicraft. With the two enchantments on the table, you've turned your 1 for 1/1 into a 2 for 3/3, who gives 4 counters to another creature when he kicks it due to a second triggering of Hardened Scales. Not bad.

3. Burst of Strength + Gyre Sage . Once the Sage is beefed up with three counters, you can tap her for mana, use Burst of Strength to untap her and add a counter, then tap her again. Net gain of 6 mana without using a single land, letting you drop Oran-Rief Hydra easily. And throw Hardened Scales in the mix for an extra bonus.

4. Oran-Rief Hydra + Primeval Titan . A classic synergy that lets you pound the +1/+1 counters onto the hydra once they're both on the board. Though they're both 6 mana, it's made easier due to the previous combo, almost to the point where you could drop both on the same turn relatively early. Sidenote, with Hardened Scales on the board, simply casting Primeval Titan pumps a fresh 5/5 Oran-Rief Hydra to an 11/11 beast.
