Sideboard

This deck is a convoluted combo deck centered around a forcing all opponents into destroying themselves with Door to Nothingness. The deck tries to control the board until the combo can activate.

  1. Play an infinite mana combo. Perhaps Pili-Pala and Grand Architect?

  2. Cast Genesis Wave for X equals the cards in your deck.

  3. Shuffle any nonpermanents back into your deck with Elixir of Immortality.

  4. Draw your entire deck with Staff of Domination.

  5. Cast the Research half of Research/Development, then shuffle it back in your deck with Elixir of Immortality, then draw it again with Staff of Domination. Rinse and repeat until your sideboard is in your hand. This is where things get weird!

  6. Cast Hive Mind and Channel the Suns.

  7. Use Elixir of Immortality and Staff of Domination to continually cast Channel the Suns until every player has infinite colored mana.

  8. Cast Vedalken Orrery, Mirror of Fate, Cast Through Time, Door to Nothingness, and Elf Replica.

  9. Use the card draw ability of Staff of Domination seven times, putting it on the stack, then sacrifice Mirror of Fate, putting its effect on the stack.

  10. Cast Paradigm Shift, with Hive Mind casting it for your opponents. Cast Through Time will exile it, and don't worry about casting it again.

  11. Sacrifice Elf Replica, targeting Hive Mind

  12. Cast Decree of Annihilation, which will rebound, so the card is exiled.

  13. Cast Oblivion Ring on Door to Nothingness, then let that resolve.

  14. Cast Detention Sphere on Vedalken Orrery, then let that resolve.

  15. Decree of Annihilation resolves, exiling all permanents thanks to Mycosynth Lattice, which should be on the board from Genesis Wave. If not, cast it with your infinite mana.

  16. Vedalken Orrery and Door to Nothingness return after Detention Sphere and Oblivion Ring are exiled.

  17. All copies of Paradigm Shift resolve, leaving all cards from all players in exile.

  18. Mirror of Fate's ability resolves, returning these seven cards: Upwelling, Omen Machine, Lich's Mirror, Harmless Offering, Compelling Argument, Oblivion Ring, Detention Sphere.

  19. Draw your entire deck.

  20. Cast every permanent except Oblivion Ring and Detention Sphere. All players still have infinite colored mana that doesn't empty, as the phase hasn't changed yet.

  21. Harmless Offering the Door to Nothingness to your favorite opponent, then pass turns until Door to Nothingness is untapped.

  22. Your favorite opponent now has two options: destroy themself, destroy an opponent, or destroy you. If they try to destroy you or another opponent with the door, Oblivion Ring your Omen Machine and Detention Sphere your Vedalken Orrery, cycle Compelling Argument and trigger Lich's Mirror, then reset the board state. Your opponent gets another chance! If your opponent destroys themselves, congratulate them for a job well done! Oblivion Ring your Omen Machine and Detention Sphere your Vedalken Orrery, cycle Compelling Argument, triggering Lich's Mirror, then give a new opponent Door to Nothingness.

  23. Repeat 22 for all opponents.

  24. Victory!

The deck has switched from a combo assembling, non-interactive, no fun deck to a goodstuff artifact deck. The Door remains!
