=== Omnipotence ===

This is my competitive mono-blue combo control deck using Arcanis the Omnipotent as the general. The basic idea is to dig and dig and dig using wizards to find one of your combos while controlling the board. It's pretty effective both in duels and multiplayer games. Any suggestions to make he deck better would be great. My playgroup is competitive and doesn't care about combos and cutthroat plays.

=== Combos ===

There are a few combos in this deck to support a few win conditions. The other win condition doesn't need a combo to feed it.

Infinite mana:

1. Palinchron+Deadeye Navigator

2. Palinchron+Phantasmal Image

Win Conditions Using Above Combos:

1. Mill win using Blue Sun's Zenith, Braingeyser , or Stroke of
Genius.

2. One-sided board bounce with Deadeye Navigator and Venser, Shaper Savant or Riptide Laboratory.

Separate Win Condition:

Arcanis the Omnipotent or Azami, Lady of Scrolls and Mind Over Matter with three mana open, digging through your deck to find and cast Laboratory Maniac, then self-milling for the win.

=== Card Draw ===

Customs Depot - Nice card that gives all my guys kicker to loot.

Inspired Sprite - A looter with upside.

Alchemist's Apprentice - Just card draw on a stick that works well with Lifeline .

Azami, Lady of Scrolls- Just... read the card.

Azure Mage - A nice mana sink, better late in the game.

Jushi Apprentice - Always, and I mean ALWAYS gonna flip. Then the true digging begins.

Riptide Director - Huge, repeatable draw.

Thought Courier - Classic looter.

Skullclamp- Great on anything with a sacrifice effect, like Alchemist's Apprentice , plus Lifeline .

Consecrated Sphinx- Maybe the best card draw spell in the deck after Arcanis.

Fallowsage - Works well with a lot of cards that can tap my wizards for an effect.

Mikokoro, Center of the Sea- Although it's symmetrical draw, it's much more helpful for us.

Remand- Although it's a counter, I couldn't really not call this card draw, because that's half of why I use it, if not more.

=== Control Aspects ===

Decree of Silence - Dropping this late game might be my favorite thing to do. Just gives you some free time do do whatever.

Aphetto Alchemist - Anything that untaps things in this deck is fantastic. (Think Arcanis copy).

Daring Apprentice - Creates a nice soft lock with lifeline.

Ertai, Wizard Adept - Repeatable counterspells are always nice.

Fatespinner - You can choose combat when digging for combos, or if you just want to overwhelm with combat, draw step really won't hurt you with all the drawing you'll be doing through your creatures.

Patron Wizard - Really awesome, an adjustable counter. Use only what you need to counter the spell.

Puppeteer - Like I said, untap is great. This is also more versatile in that it counter tap things too.

Supreme Inquisitor - Take away their combo pieces, their bombs, this card is great.

Venser, Shaper Savant- It slices, it dices.

Voidmage Prodigy- Repeatable counterspell on a stick. Yet another thing that works well with Lifeline .

Willbender- Very cheap spell stealer. Amazing!

Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir - Just pure awesomeness.

Mindslaver- The meaning of "control".

Glen Elendra Archmage- One mana repeatable counter on a flyer.

Oppresive will- It's a hard counter. Always.

Scent of Brine - Same as above.

Counterspell- It's... it's counterspell.

Tamiyo, the Moon Sage - Awesome control planeswalker.

Arcane Denial- Love this counter! Hard counter for two with a downside and an upside.

Memory Lapse- They can't replay the countered card immediately and it negates their next draw.

Cryptic Command- There are now two meanings for control. This is one.

=== Conclusion ===

There are many cards not mentioned here but still important to the deck. For example, you see Lifeline mentioned a lot. The mentioned aren't the only cards important here, just the ones that fit into the three main categories. There are many more great utility cards and lands in here. I'd love any comments or suggestions. Thanks.
