Testing the deckbuilder with my real life first ever commander deck.

This deck started as a proof of concept concerning cards which use (X) in their mana costs. I wanted to see what the largest single use of cards like Gelatinous Genesis, Genesis Wave and Hydra Broodmaster could be. Most cards in MTG that use (X) have a 1:1 ratio of mana to effect, for example, most hydras in the game, and in this deck, "Enter the battlefield with (X) +1/+1 counters" on them, meaning that 1 spent mana is equal to 1 power and 1 toughness on the battlefield.

Hydra Broodmaster and Gelatinous Genesis are far superior. Instead of 1:1, the ratio is more like (X);(X)/2 Meaning that if one spends 8 mana, one gets a total of 16 power and 16 toughness added to the board, if you spend say 20 mana, you get 100 power and 100 toughness, and if you spend 100 mana [as this deck is capable of] you could lay down as much as 2500 total power and toughness on your battlefield.

It is not without flaws however. This mana production depends on many different parts adding multipliers to basic and non basic lands, its ability to keep mana floating between turns is wiped out if someone hates on Omnath before he is properly protected. Giving all creatures flash, making 3 drops free to cast, this protects Omnath and allows recasting before steps and phases change, therefore protecting what should be a mountainous mana pool from emptying.

Currently in playtesting, I am looking for more consistent tutoring and recursion, as well as any further mana doubling or ridiculous combos [but non-infinite combos, my local meta has a tentative ban on them]

Thanks for reading!
