Omnath MonoGreen Commander

Hello everyone, I wanted to present my Omnath Mono-color commander cover. This began when some friends, in mid-2017, gave me this commander and since that date I have been improving it and making changes.

I know that many will wonder why in the SideBorad you see letters, like Mana Crypt, the answer is simple. This deck is built from the cards that I have in my physical collection, which I use to play in my community of commander, those found inside SideBoard are cards that I aspire to get over time, which now They are inaccessible to me, but they are directly included in any cEDH cover.

Strategies:

The objective of the roof is to obtain maximum effectiveness and find as quickly as possible your mana rocks and farm objects (elves, land seekers and letters of support to place successive lands in the field on each turn).

Once we manage to be effective in collecting mana and stacking generators within the field, we must opt for a more aggressive task towards our opponents and also oriented to populate the field of creatures and enchantments, play spells and control key aspects of the table through the destruction of permanent.

As our commander can access the game in early shifts (turn 2 is ideal, with a very refined hand he can do it in turn 1, and even, depending on our game, it is not at all unfavorable to introduce it in later shifts, provided that means take an advantage in other aspects of the early game), we can take a huge advantage of filling our reserves at the end of the other opponents' turn, in order to get to the next step of stealing with extra accumulated mana that allows us to play cost spells every Increasing in early instances.

The aforementioned answers a big question of the deck, what happens if Omnath is the focus of attention in the first turns and is removed from the field, or what happens if I manage to generate too much attention and the opponents point against me. If the beginning was solid, it is covered, they have the potential to recover very quickly, reintroduce Omnath into play and deal with threats, the important thing is to know when to play a decisive spell, when to mislead your opponents by playing a spell that does not necessarily carry to the winning strategy or when to be patient and only keep mana and collect land, and then destroy with a decisive play where all opponents have their lands turned or have spent their response.

Start

For our initial hand, we must take advantage of the mulligans we take, something that would favor us to possess at the beginning are 2 or 3 land cards, a mana generator, an element of protection for Omnath and maybe some theft card. I consider this because it is a basis to begin at least to store mana. The cost of the cards should not be high to allow us to make more than one movement per turn.

Example: T1 -> Forest + Exploration + Forest + Sol Ring; T2 -> Forest + Omnath, Locus of Mana + Arbor Elf; T3 -> Forest. Battle phase, Damage = 6.

This is an example among so many that can happen to us. I managed to finish a game with 21 commander damage in turn 5, it has a very big difficulty but it can happen in some cases, giving a very aggressive tinge to the deck. If we can not do it, we already have a lot of mana to play creatures or decisive cards in early turns.
