My take on an Omnath tiny leaders deck.

Ok so, Omnom likes mana, we all know this. So how do we get the mana? And how do we use it? Also, what is the general plan of attack? How do we win?

Mana-wise we have basically only Forests, mostly because anything else would harm some cards such as Primal Bellow, Blanchwood Armor and Dungrove Elder. This means we’re going to want all our ramp to bring lands into play rather than play mana dorks. Song of Freyalise is great for keeping back blockers and generating mana after blocks, Rites of Flourishing is also great for filling the hand with (Hopefully) lands, although it can be quite slow. Animist's Awakening is the best ramp in the deck as it typically gets enough lands back to recuperate the costs very quickly and leaves all the other good stuff behind. Sakura-Tribe Elder is also good as a chump block into ramp.

What do all these Forests do? Well besides feeding Omnom delicious green mana, they buff the Land based cards like Scute Mob and Traproot Kami as previously mentioned. But we also have Hydras, who can take all the mana and make another big threat, such as Genesis Hydra who will most likely bring something in with it, Primordial Hydra who can quickly snowball and trample through for lethal and Protean Hydra which is very hard to kill, or even impossible when his toughness is buffed with either Boon Satyr or Blanchwood Armor (Aside from kill spells of course), And Mistcutter Hydra can end games against blue decks.

So, what’s the plan? Well to be honest, stall. Stall for as long as you need to because most of the time they will outpace you. This deck’s true power lies in its late game when you have a big stable board, a ton of mana stored on Omnom and the ability to swing for lethal in one or two hits. Traproot Kami is an amazing blocker as is manages to always stay relevant unless you miss a lot of land drops, Skylasher and Witchstalker are great depending on if you are against a Blue or Black deck, which tend to be the bane of this deck’s existence. Leatherback Baloth is great at taking hits as a 4/5 for 3, same with the Undying Strangleroot Geist can chump block twice. While active Rhonas the Indomitable is probably the best blocker in the deck with Indestructible and Deathtouch. Although Boon Satyr and Savage Summoning can also flash in a good blocker too.

Although despite our late game power, there are a lot of good cards in here that will be able to rush opponents down such as Rancor, Primal Bellow and Boon Satyr especially with Bestow, and many of the defensive cards listed above can also be great for aggro. And for the finale we have, well, Finale of Devastation which can end games by itself, especially if you grab an active Dryad Sophisticate and hit for unblockable damage.

Fear the awakened Rhonas the Indomitable with a Roar of Challenge!! Fear the Omnath, Locus of Mana with trample from Rancor!! Fear the Ulvenwald Tracker forcing you to fight the huge Hydras!!

For the sideboard we have a personal favorite of mine Avoid Fate as it stops a lot of removal spells, plus NO ONE EXPECTS THE GREEN COUNTER SPELL!!! Other than that the sideboard basically speaks for itself as to what it does.

So yeah, lots of ways to win with this deck. And I personally love it to bits, lemmie know what you think, how to improve it or any cards that would fit nicely into it. Thanks for reading :)
