This is very similar to my Oloro EDH deck. In my meta, I've greatly benefited from Humility, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, Toxic Deluge, Leyline of Anticipation, Leyline of the Void, Replenish, and Gilded Lotus all of which are noticeable omissions from your deck but it's all meta dependent anyway.

That is correct. I am trying to keep the cmc of the deck low. Which is why I took out some of what you suggested above. I'll keep some of those in mind. Thanks for the suggestions!

I like the idea but I think you still have some chunky ends you could cut, like Sire of Stagnation and Drogskol Reaver. Oloro was my first build and I'm still always changing it. I recently put a Azorius Guildmage and it does wonders against combos. Also Toshiro Umezawa and Deathbringer Liege make for some crazy triggers, especially since you run 20+ instants. I also really like Aura Thief and Hushwing Gryff. Depending on your playgroup though. Just some suggestions! I just never needed more draw by the time I had 7 mana access. Then again, alot of people tell me I'm one of the few people they see actually take oloro off his throne. His ability alone with Exquisite Blood allows you insane draw, damage output.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have known about removing Sire for sometime now. I will look into some of your suggestions and see if they fit into what I want this deck to do. BTW, now that the tuck rule is gone, I do actually play the immortal King if it is beneficial to me ;)

I'd also like to suggest the likes of Celestial Colonnade, Creeping Tar Pit, and Mutavault. They've made the difference in too many games for me to ever even think about taking them out of my Oloro.

I had 2 of the three in there, but felt it slowed me down. They can be nice to have, but aren't easily fetched. I do go back and forth on putting them in.

That's not true Cackfiend. Notice how one is instant and one is sorcery speed? I'm partial to Act of Authority filling that niche anyway, it's super fun to bounce that one back to your hand after you've already used it for a 2 for 1 and stuff like Replenish and Enlightened Tutor have synergy with act.

When you put a link to your other deck, how do you show its details such as the colors and upvotes, etc? When I put a deck link, It only shows the name. Thanks a ton +1

If you don't like the infinite combo between Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, I understand. What I don't understand is why you chose Exquisite Blood over Sanguine Bond. Bond seems much more powerful in this deck than Blood

You might need another answer for Erebos, God of the Dead as well. Right now, you only have Anguished Unmaking and counterspells. Maybe you should consider running Return to Dust or even Erase

The new Aetherflux Reservoir is perfect for this kind of deck!

I would like to say thank you to everyone who has upvoted and commented on this deck. I have been away and apologize for not responding to everyone earlier. I am going to respond to everyone in one go instead of trying to get each one individually. So here it goes. I am going for a more competitive version of this deck, so for that reason I have been going for cards with lower cost. It helps speed up my deck play, and it keeps me from trying to add in over zealous cards. I like the idea of cards like Aetherflux Reservoir, but they will rarely be relevant in a game with 4 or more opponents. I also have chosen cards that keep me from being a bigger target at the table than I already am, so I went with cards that gained me life instead of making the other players lose life. Thanks again for everyone who has helped me with this deck.

and if anyone wanted to know how to tag a deck like I do, here is how you do it:

double brackets here deck-large: deck title goes here double brackets here
