This is very far from the pre-con

Oloro is a pretty well played out commander, so it's hard to offer more. As one of my first EDH Decks, I have had a lot of time to put many very strong cards in here. Life-gain is pretty straight forward and this deck uses the free-gain from our boye to get card-advantage and kill opponents.

This build is tuned to be focused on the extort keyword. While few extort cards were printed, the general idea of group life-loss as you gain is the theme of this build. Your opponents WILL hate you, and you will almost always be target acquired. hopefully Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, Revenge of Ravens, and Norn's Annex convince them otherwise. Typically about 80% of the deck is played during your upkeep as your life-total skyrockets and your opponents' Plummet. Often times, oloro won't be played. His 2nd ability is VERY powerful, and so he is the instant target of removal. This bound with his high-mana cost makes him often not worth the investment.

This deck can be adjusted and played in a few different ways. Mystic Barrier, Sphere of Safety and Crawl Space can be added to bunker-down and pillowfort a little bit hard as you fish for your win-cons. If that's the wave, maybe consider adding some tutors. Our boye's life-gain makes it easy for opponents to be left with no-choice but to use commander-damage - and considering the power-level of this deck that might be outside the play-group.

There are also a few Combos in here if you so desire: - The Blood-bond combo is an obvious one : Sanguine Bond Exquisite Blood - Tainted Remedy and Beacon of Immortality make you alpha-strike any one opponent - Skirge Familiar and Greed is another staple: As long as you have life you drawl to win.

The deck also has a few fun interactions: - Thran Turbine and Paradox Haze both abuse Oloro's 2nd Ability (if he is cast0 - Paradox Haze might actually be the best card in the deck, considering all the upkeep shenanigans - Venser's Journal and Necropotence makes it so that you can draw your whole deck for nearly free (it just takes some time) - Aetherfulx Reservoir: While offing only one opponent may not be great for you, hold them all Hostage as you fish for a win-con.

Esper is a wonderful swarm of colors! Why remove a single target when you can remove them all??? - Wrath of God - Merciless Eviction - Winds of Abandon - Kaya's Wrath - Cyclonic Rift - Time Wipe And the list goes on!

Sing target removal is also an option, and is often a necessity. Thanks to Orzhov, we get a lot of exile removal (fun!) and the blue gives us counterspells!

This deck is very methodical. Every opponent dreads your turn, and you need to be very careful how you order your triggers during your upkeep. Understanding the stack is a necessity, and being able to know the perfect moment to Death to the Debtless is an acquired skill. Still, enjoy your time, gain lots o' life, and make all your friends hate you!
