Oloro Just Wants to Nap

Commander / EDH WUB (Esper)

rwall106

So, your friends convinced you to play commander with them, but all you really want to do is sit around and do nothing. Oloro feels the same way. All he really wants to do is stay in that chair of his and nap. This deck was designed for people like you and Oloro, and gets rid of pesky things like attacking, blocking, even being part of the game at all! So just sit back, relax, and let your opponents do all the work for you.

This deck has numerous win cons, all based on one thing: doing absolutely nothing. In addition to win cons, it also has numerous draw cons, forcing the game to be a draw (everyone wins!). They are as follows:

Lethal Vapors , Teferi's Protection , and an atog: this was the original inspiration for the deck, and why I made it all in the first place. The win con is fairly straightforward: first, play an atog. Next, play lethal vapors, followed by teferi's protection. Then, with protection on the stack, activate lethal vapor's ability an infinite number of times. Finally, sacrifice vapors to your atog to prevent opponents from doing the same, and let protection resolve. You have successfully removed yourself from the game for the foreseeable future! Sit back and watch your opponent slowly mill themselves to death.

Azor's Elocutors : Pretty obvious, just use your pillowforting to keep the enemies at bay while the Elocutors work on victory!

Celestial Convergence and Vampire Hexmage : Again, fairly obvious, Play the hexmage, followed by convergence. Sac the mage, removing all counters from convergence and, since Oloro will probably have given you the life advantage, you win!

Divine Intervention and Vampire Hexmage : Similar to above, except it makes the game a draw.

Approach of the Second Sun and any sort of tutor: play it, tutor it, and play it again for the win!

Aetherflux Reservoir : Do you like absurd amounts of damage? I know I do. 50 damage will be enough to finish most opponents off, so sit back and enjoy the show!

If you have any questions or suggestions, please share! Always looking for more ways to make a lazy deck. Note: I specifically left Felidar Sovereign out of this deck. That felt almost too lazy.
