Hi Everybody, I wanna post my themebased kitchen table deck, far from being tournament bound! I hope it is ok to post that here, no offense taken if it would not get comments. It's my first time to post here. And the last part of my disclaimer: I was like 15+ years out of MTG.

So, back in the 90s I had a weakness for the Marsh Viper and had built a deck around it and the later surfacing Sabertooth Cobra. The deck was basd on building up some control craturewise (including fog and undergrowth and walls with reach beside a solid cast of small critters) and hitting home with lure. That worked fairly bad... but the idea to build a deck around this card stuck with me.

That's the reason why the only untouchable cards in this deck are the marsh viper and (to a lesser extent) the sabretooth Cobra. I would hear reasons against the latter, but not against the Marsh viper.

So my idea was to use the Psionic Gift and Viridian Longbow direct damage effect. In that way the old school poison counter mechanics that my snakes use are even an advantage compared to 'Infect' creatures. EDIT: Thanks to the input of Barbarian_Sun_Pope this will be combined with Second Wind to hit home as soon as the combo is out! What I am struggling with is to build around that, especially to balance protection for me and my reptiles, card advantage and card quality and supporting effects like mana speed. I would be very happy to receive suggestions about that.
