"timefabric hits you with Lightning Bolt for 72. You lose."
My playgroup runs a lot of nonbasic lands & green ramp, hence the need for all the nonbasic hate & extra land drop hate. I use the "maybeboard" liberally, swapping stuff like Tunnel Ignus, Burning Earth, Anger of the Gods, Rout, and Grab the Reins to add to my big combos like Sundial of the Infinite, Isochron Scepter, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Aggravated Assault, and Sword of Feast and Famine. You also have 5x sac outlets in the maybeboard to play with, add them if you feel the need to use Lightning Crafter with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker.
The sideboard is mostly to constrain Burning Wish to a toolbox of phat sorceries you can win the game with.
Adjust accordingly ^_^, stay thirsty my friends.
Notable Combos:
- Heartless Hidetsugu + Gisela, Blade of Goldnight = all opponents life becomes 1 or 0
- Isochron Scepter + Final Fortune + Platinum Angel / Sundial of the Infinite = infinite turns
- Sword of Feast and Famine + Aggravated Assault + Any equipped Creature = As long as you can connect with CB dmg, infinite Combat Phases.
- Lightning Crafter + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + sacrifice outlet= infinite damage
- Sunforger + Final Fortune + Angel's Grace/Platinum Angel + Reito Lantern/Mistveil Plains = infinite turns
Notable Synergies:
- Crucible of Worlds + Strip Mine = take out one of your opponents lands every turn. pair with Isochron Scepter + Final Fortune + Platinum Angel / Sundial of the Infinite for infinite turns / infinite land removal. you win.
- Boros Charm + Wrath of God = wipes your opponents while you sit pretty
- tap Pyromancer's Goggles for a , use it to cast Lightning Bolt with Furnace of Rath, Dictate of the Twin Gods, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight on the battlefield. When Lightning Bolt hits the stack, cast Fork to hit your opponent for 72. Not bad for a measly . The harder part is getting the Dictate & Furnace out at the same time. Discarding them to something like Cathartic Reunion, then re-animating with Open the Vaults is one way ^_^.
