This deck aims to take advantage of Odric, Lunarch Marshal's ability to spread deathtouch, first strike, as well as indestructible if possible to your other creatures. This deck also features a number of creatures with lifelink to add survivability.

Help I need

Currently, I'm looking for help determining what weaknesses the deck has and how I could rework the deck to account for them. I'm also not sure of what to add for the sideboard, so my maybeboard is what I'm using for that. I'd also appreciate input on better, cheaper ($ wise), or more versatile cards. Finally, I don't know what other hubs I could use to classify this deck. I'm thinking it might be midrange, but I'm hesitant to put that down.

I haven't yet built the deck and playtested it myself, so if anyone happens to have the cards required and wants to try this out, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know how you fare in an actual game with this deck.

How to Play**

I currently believe that the best opening hand for this deck will have at least 1 Plains, at least 1 Swamp, Bontu, Odric, and Heartless Summoning. If you have these cards in your opening hand, play can proceed as follows:

T1: Play a Swamp T2: Play either a Plains or a Swamp (or Isolated Chapel) and then play Heartless Summoning. T3: Play another land (you MUST have the ability to tap for 1 at this point). Then play Bontu and Odric in that order. This will ensure that Odric gains indestructible until end of turn beginning at the start of combat each turn, making him more difficult to remove.

From here, you start bringing in deathtouch and first strike creatures, using Sheltering Light, Fatal Push, Dash Hopes, and Dawn Charm when necessary to keep Odric or other creatures in play.

If you don't get all of these cards in your starting hand, then establishing board position with deathtouch or first strike creatures and countering opponent's spells should allow you to stall until you can bring out Odric. Bontu isn't strictly necessary, but will protect Odric from combat damage and burn if he happens to be otherwise alone on the battlefield.

Thanks for any feedback and advice you can give and I hope you enjoy this deck!
