The Ol' Chump chomper is here to munch what few unfortunate 2/2s wander into his waters. When it pleases him, he will take a 1/3rd commander damage chunk out of your life total too, asking for Thassa, God of the Sea's permission as opposed to yours.

The Primal Chomp doesn't care much for other creatures, with the exception of air support as an alternative win condition with the likes of Talrand, Sky Summoner, Docent of Perfection  , and Murmuring Mystic. The air strike benefits from the spell slinging focus Nezzie takes, the type of attack any blue mage worth their weight would make. Even so, this strategy should only go off after lurking many a turn in the deep waters, amassing card advantage while waiting for the perfect chance to strike.

The custom categories should do most of the explaining. This deck could no doubt be more competitive, but that's not the point. The point is to hold 20+ cards to make Nezzie neigh untouchable as you pitch to your graveyard for later utility.

Favorite plays thus far include:

Cycling Dragon Wings and having it return to battlefield on my commander a few turns later, plus every time Nezahal is blinked.

Terrain Generator with Nezahal, Primal Tide and/or an open Thaumatic Compass   activation.

Whenever Dream Halls resolves.
