Welcome to the World of the Orzhov's Punishing Ways!

I have rebuilt my Obzedat deck after tearing apart my original build and going more in depth with this build, and have made several modifications over this deck's lifecycle. This deck is pretty resilient in my play group - it has gotten close multiple times in beating a competitive Zur the Enchanter deck. The main premise of the deck is to sit back, let gradual damage slowly kill my opponents until I can one shot with burn spells or swing out: Usually life loss effects win me the game. I have restrained the deck from its initial land destruction and infinite combo because I enjoy playing this deck - having the combo and land destruction made it hard to get any playtime with the deck as my playgroup discourages these things. Any suggestions will be appreciated and considered as this deck seems to be an ever-evolving masterpiece. I have also experimented with the other potential commanders (Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim, Daxos the Returned, Karlov of the Ghost Council, and Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts), but I keep coming back to Obzedat.

Rather than combos, I have decided to just overload the deck with tutors to get the cards I need when I need and want them. Because of the overloading of tutors, this deck plays really consistently and remains undefeated in my normal playgroup and even won a 6-man game that had an Iona out calling white - which cut off my winning with the Debt to the Deathless I had when the Iona was played, but ended with good 'ol beatdown with Sheoldred, Whispering One and Faerie Rogues (Bitterblossom has since been replaced). So, this deck can give the old fashioned "turn 'em sideways" approach of winning when it needs to.

As always, +1's and suggestions are not only welcomed, but appreciated!
