You can use Reliquary Tower+Purity+Necropotence to draw a lot of your library in case you did not know.

Idyllic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor can find your combo pieces.

Idyllic Tutor Actually isnt that bad of an Idea. It'd definitely help to get some winning combos out; however, I've never been a big fan of Vampiric Tutor because of it goes on top rather than In hand. It Is a good card though, so adding it might be a good idea, eveb if It's just in the sideboard. Two life isnt anything when comparing it to what I've seen this deck do.

In response to Ob Nixilis Reignited I just feel like he wouldn't fit well within the deck. I've ran him in some other decks and I've never been a big fan.

Cliffhaven Vampire and Defiant Bloodlord are cards that would totally be worth adding into the deck! It'd definitely allow me to focus more on the combo. A Demonic Tutor wouldn't hurt either. Having that extra tutor never hurts.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I'll look into making so adjustments. The feed back helps tremendously.

The 2 life should be negligible with the all the life gain and if it helps you get infinite life it's totally moot. Also, since its instant speed you can cast it on the other person's end step right before your turn so no one can sorcery-speed mill it. Idyllic Tutor is solid but obviously has less range, as Vampiric can grab other things you may need. Cool build.

That's very true! Honestly I hadn't thought about the instant speed affect. That's definitely an upside to the card. I'm still working on a couple edits, taking out, and adding a few cards, but I'll definitely look into adding it in. Thanks :)

I do love the Necropotence+Purity+Reliquary TowerCombo. It's one that's very easily over looked, yet works so well. Thanks for pointing it out.

HunterClaise how does the combo work? Paying life is not the same thing as damage, which is what Purity prevents. Activating Necropotence's ability with Purity doesn't gain you life, because it's life payment, which isn't damage.

Actually you are correct. The combo wouldn't work nearly as well as I thought it would, as I thought Purity read, "If noncombat damage would be dealt to you, prevent that damage. You gain life equal to the life lost this way." It'd be super epic if the combo could get pulled off. I might have to look into finding a card to combo with Necropotence!

HunterClaise

No need to find a card that combos with Necropotence; it already combos with your library. :P

Necropotence is definitely one of favorite cards in magic. It's affect is wild, and I love it's art. Mark Tedin is just such a fantastic artist.

Have you met Auriok Champion?

yeah, Necropotence wouldn't be prevented by Purity, because its not damage, its loss of life. completely different mechanic.

but if you are screwed if someone is playing Angel of Jubilation

Is it a reason to why so few edh players in WB plays Deathbringer Liege? I think it would be a fantstic removal and boost to your creatures.

If you looking to combo off I'd recommend Solitary Confinement & Glacial Chasm which can buy you time while you assemble your combo pieces, Replenish is also probably the best recovery card if you lose some of your pieces. Tainted Remedy combos with Beacon of Immortality as another option and Hatred is a one shot kill with lifelink or commander damage.

With all your life gain, and spell potential, have you looked into Aetherflux Reservoir?

I think Karlov of the Ghost Council is actually the real powerhouse. Your deck is already built for him.

June 29, 2017 8:18 a.m.

That's actually who I've been looking at. A lot of people have been pointing me in his direction.

I don't get why Solemnity is in this deck. Won't that basically disable everything that's cool about Karlov? I'd add Angelic Accord to replace it. Also, I'd consider Erebos, God of the Dead, Athreos, God of Passage andToxic Deluge.

June 30, 2017 5:15 a.m.

I added Solemnity into the deck to combo with Celestial Convergence It doesn't remove the counters from Karlov if he has any when it ETBs. Plus it shuts down other people's decks more than it would this one. I wouldn't play Solemnity unless I knew I had Celestial Convergence. If you play Solemnity then Celestial Convergence it'll enter with zero counters, instantly winning you the game.

I had Angelic Accord in the deck before I made the major update to it. It was removed because it honestly never helped me much. The deck isn't focused around creatures like that, so I figured removing it for a card like Path to Exile would be more beneficial.

Erebos and Athreos both don't fit well in the deck in my opinion as well. I love Athreos, but I felt like there were better choices so he was never put into the deck in the final product. Erebos doesn't do me any good because ideally I'll win by Test of Endurance, Felidar Sovereign, Celestial Convergence, or the Exquisite Blood x Sanguine Bond combo. Usually the only time I win by reducing opponents to zero life is when they've all been hitting each other and ignoring me. Then I just swoop in with a hefty Debt to the Deathless or Exsanguinate. Then it's game over, so his "Opponents can't gain life" doesn't do much for me.

I also thought about putting Toxic Deluge into the deck, but when the final touches were being put onto it I decided one more board wipe wouldn't do me much good. Plus I couldn't afford the cut. I liked how the deck was shaping up, and Toxic Deluge just didn't seem to fit in that final image. Plus I'm greedy and like keeping all my life haha.

I really appreciate the feed back though! Thank you :) I love getting comments and discussing decks and strategies.

June 30, 2017 7:24 a.m.

The deck looks pretty fun and honestly probably annoying to play against. I looked through and it seems you are lacking a little in ways to remove enchantments/artifacts especially the former being an issue. Sulfuric Vortex Havoc Festival Leyline of Punishment Erebos, God of the Dead and Tainted Remedy could all be problematic especially since they all could be in the same deck. Solemn Offering seems like it would be on theme, and there are so many other options in white. I dont really have suggestions on what to take out to make room, but if you could free up 2 or 3 slots it might be worthwhile.

June 30, 2017 8:09 a.m.

Thanks for the compliment haha. I use actually use Mortify, Vindicate, and Austere Command to get rid of enchantments and artifacts. Path to Exile, Swords to Plowshares, Fumigate, and Black Sun's Zenith takes care of indestructible creatures along with normal ones. Using Karlov of the Ghost Council as the general definitely doens't hurt anything either haha.
