I was in New Hampshire spending the easter break with my roommate from college and we went down to his "local" card shop that he's been going to for ages. so to kill some time and have some fun we decided on a whim to play in the constructed tournament that they were having that day.

i dont play standard very often, so i had to make a deck in like an hour or two max. After pulling a Nyxathid and throughly loving the card Blightning (i love red and black together) This was the concept that i settled on

discard + Nyxathid ... and since Blightning was such a fantastic card (to me at least) i saw no reason not to splash red and throw some burn in the mix.

so i made my 40 card deck and had some fun... i think i would of done decent ... had my inexperience not betrayed me(i dont draft or play in tournaments very often, i'm a casual gamer) in the original 40 card deck i neglected to put any sort of creature removal besides meager burn spells. lol

up-grading it to a 60 card deck and making sure to put in some terrors you see before you the finished product of what once was a type 2 deck. the only one i ever built and liked the way it was enough not to make legacy.

i don't even know what i would change in it to be honest. i'm sure it has room for improvement with older cards. or newer cards for that matter.

overall i think its a solid deck.

what's everyone else's opinon?
