The Mana
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx- GET ALL THE MANA!!!
Darksteel Citadel- Solid one-of for Nissa, Worldwaker to animate
Wooded Foothills- Helps filter through the deck and synergies well with Courser of Kruphix
Radiant Fountain- I've got enough green mana sources to get some life off this colorless land
Elvish Mystic- Turn 1 mana ramp
Voyaging Satyr- Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx + Voyaging Satyr . Nuff said
Rattleclaw Mystic- acts as either turn two ramp or can be morphed for extra mana
Courser of Kruphix- Fat blocker, two to devotion, and deck filtering. What's not to like?
The Monsters
Genesis Hydra- Completely busted in this deck. Mana dump that provides a fat body AND lets me get a Nylea, God of the Hunt or Nissa, Worldwaker for free. LOVE. THIS. CARD.
Polukranos, World Eater- 5/5 for four that gets bigger while providing me a form of removal. No wonder every green deck plays this card.
Hornet Queen- Game over. Seriously. Even if you kill the queen I now have 4 deathtouch flyers that can block and kill anything or can swing every turn because nobody wants to block them.
Nissa, Worldwaker- turns lands into 4/4 tramples or can ramp mana dumps like Genesis Hydra. Don't forget about Darksteel Citadel + Nissa, Worldwaker either.
Ugin, the Spirit Dragon- Finisher that can reset the entire board or just start burning the opponents face. Don't forget Nissa, Worldwaker's tokens and Scuttling Doom Engine survive his -x.
The Utility
Chord of Calling- works alongside Genesis Hydra to find my various one-ofs like:
Nylea's Disciple- Chord target against aggro or whenever I'm low on life
Nylea, God of the Hunt- great finisher, especially against token decks
Destructor Dragon- Flyer in green? Check. Fairly difficult to kill? Check. Kills planeswalkers when dies? Check.
Reclamation Sage- destroys everything annoying like Eidolon of Blossoms , Banishing Light , or Jeskai Ascendancy
Scuttling Doom Engine- huge threat that can't be chump blocked. Perfect answer to Elspeth, Sun's Champion
Whisperwood Elemental- provides a miniature army AND defends me against board wipes? How can I say no?
Arbor Colossus- 6/6 for five that adds three to devotion and deals with flyers? Yes please.
Sideboard
Arbor Colossus- comes in against decks that have a large amount of flyers
Hornet Nest- great against green mirror or other midrange decks
Mistcutter Hydra- perfect against control or jeskai burn
Nylea's Disciple- shuts down burn or aggro
Phyrexian Revoker- destroys control or any other decks that rely on specific win-cons
Reclamation Sage- for jeskai ascendancy or decks that have lots of enchantments/artifacts
Setessan Tactics- additional removal against other midrange decks
Soul of New Phyrexia- saves my bacon from End Hostilities or Duneblast
Boon Satyr- Great to flash in against abzan midrange or control especially after a board wipe.
Destructor Dragon- That's a nice Elspeth, Sun's Champion you got there. It would be a shame if something were to happen it...
