INTRO

Hello! This is my Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper deck! I decided to put this list together because my card:Kefnet, the Mindfull deck kinda sucks. My play group is rather powerful (I will list every deck in the group later). I'm having trouble competing! Not just because I'm low on funds, their amazing deck builders. I might be on the top of the group with skill but that doesn't mean much when their decks are put together well.

Why Noyan

I saw recently Jumbo Commanders 34 deck video and noticed a commander with fantastic art (In My Opinion). I had to look into it. I found out it was Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper . He was alright but in my playgroup I felt he could do some damage. The group has no land removal. That when I started building.

The deck

This is SUPER BUDGET too and extreme. I do not feel like putting up money for a deck without having an idea with how it performs... especially after my Kefnet fiasco. This deck is more like a placeholder for a stronger version of itself.

The main strategy is to just play a control game with Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper out on the battlefield. Hopefully get some sort of game presence without getting too overpowered. Then play a card like Planar Outburst or Planar Cleansing . Because your lands are now creatures your the only one with anything on the board, and hopefully they are not able to recover in time for their destruction!

Sub Theme

Let us just pretend everything goes wrong. (For example) Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper has been destroyed so many times that his cost is far too great to use him reliably (yes this has happened to me with a different deck). No worries! There is a basic +1/+1 counter sub theme! Cards like: Herald of Secret Streams , Contagion Clasp , Wall of Resurgence , Roil Spout will help you continue creating creature lands to kill your opponents!

Play Group

My playgroup is small, only four people including me, so we all try to buy new decks every so often to keep things interesting (Except for me. I kinda stick with one deck for a long time unless I am unhappy with it). One player outranks everyone by far in deck building so I am going to focus on him for this. His main threat everyone is most scared of is an amazing Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck. If left unnoticed, which normally happens, the deck will explode and win out of nowhere. No one can really stop it. After that goes his Prossh, Skyraider of Kher and Kaalia of the Vast decks. There are also The Locust God , The Scarab God , and Oloro, Ageless Ascetic to worry about.

Help!

This deck is alright but it could be better! If you know of any cards at all that could improve my deck please let me know! But keep in mind my budget for now, although overtime I will upgrade.

P.S This deck is out of commission. Although it was fun, I took it apart.
