The title is meant to be read with indignation and surprise. This is, indeed, a combo heavy list. NaCl is the chemical sodium chloride, essentially meaning that my list is a recipe for salt.

I appreciate strategic criticism much more than specific card choice criticism.

As graves bubble over in an organic froth and creatures ooze back to life, Jarad beckons his army to rise from the trembling earth. This deck is about taking advantage of growth, decay, and regrowth as symbolized by a focus on reanimation, inevitability, and combos.

This deck is admittedly rather light on thematic inclusion because this is my most cutthroat deck. In this deck alone, express a complete preference for power over flavor. This deck aims to combo out consistently around turns 5-6.

Reanimation serves as one way to recycle our creatures or to take advantage of other refuse strewn about the battlefield. It can also let us cheat in our more expensive beaters.

As for feeding the grave, some cards allow me to either tutor for a creature to put in the grave, or which let a few cards slide off the top each turn. These ensure that I always have ample targets.

How we win
What we aim to do is to either get a combo in the graveyard as soon as possible, or to get a huge creature onto Jarad's altar.

Either way, we need to start filling our grave as soon as possible, and be wary of early graveyard hate. We have a number of tutors to selectively build our yard, like Entomb, Buried Alive, Jarad's Orders.

We need to look at our opponents and decide what the best way to take them out will be. Some are weak to combat, and others are weak to combo.

Fishing

We spent our life on cards like Hollywood cocaine addicts, tossing away everything for another combo piece. This continues until we have something to win with - we just keep dredging until we get it.

This deck is kind of a work in progress. This deck, while slowly evolving from a crude form composed of trade binder jank, is intended to be my eventual go-to competitive deck. That being said, please don't refer to the following cards. I already know about them and I would have them if I had the budget for them. Try to keep sugs under the $15-20 dollar (USD) range
