The maiden voyage for this deck in a field of 16, which split after 4 rounds of swiss to a top 8. The deck went 2-2, losing to Affinity in the quarterfinals of the top 8. I was not the one who played the deck at the tournament, as my buddy didn't grab his modern deck, and needed to borrow one. The deck was quite different that day, with things such as Raid Bombardment, Proclamation of Rebirth, and Shrine of Loyal Legions all main deck, with all of the Lightning Helix, a set of Lightning Bolt, and an extra mountain in the sideboard... Needless to say, the deck performed well enough to get a makeover to what is listed above.
